Since our furniture is handcrafted, each individual piece is unique. You must expect light variations in colour, and a different arrangement of grains and knots. It is also possible that the material contains some small irregularities, especially is the wood is recycled or reclaimed. All of this adds to the charm of handcrafted furniture! Of course, we inspect each product with care to ensure it respects our standards. By being manufactured in our warehouse, we guarantee our product is of excellent quality.

  • Are the product colours on the website exact?

Product photos are taken by professionals, and we have taken every measure to bring the most accurate visual depiction possible of the colours to your screen. However, depending on the brightness of your computer monitor, the colours displayed may vary from one screen to another. If you feel you need any assistance with choosing colours, feel free to contact us. We will gladly help you choose the right colour.

  • How does the wooden furniture evolve over time?

Wood is living matter. The wood’s slight, natural movement is completely normal. Varying colors, holes, knots, as well as small imperfections contribute to our products’ beauty and uniqueness. Our furniture is hand-crafted, which gives all our products a distinguished, rustic charm. If you notice small cracks appearing on the furniture over time, do not worry; this is perfectly normal, as wood naturally expands and contracts over time. Solid wood furniture is sensitive to variations in temperature and humidity. Over time, the furniture will slowly evolve, without its quality being affected in any way!

  • What should I do to properly maintain the wooden furniture?

It is recommended to regularly dust the wood with a humid or dry cloth. Do not use cleaning products, as these may damage the furniture’s protective finish. Wood, being a noble and natural material, is sensitive to change. Do not expose the furniture to the sun’s rays for a prolonged period of time, as this causes discolouration. We also recommend you avoid submitting the furniture to significant variations in temperature caused by chimneys or ventilation ducts.
